Quality Policy

EKAPY’s policy is to fulfill its responsibilities, to provide high quality services to the beneficiaries and the general community in the field of health, to provide safe and effective medicines and materials to patients in a timely manner and to fully satisfy their requirements through an organizational environment that promotes quality.

The main objective is to maintain and continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Quality Management System and to comply with the relevant Legislation and the EN ISO 9001:2015 standard.

In the context of the Quality Policy, the Management defines basic objectives, which are reviewed at regular intervals and which aim to:

• Improvement of the quality of the services provided, at the lowest possible cost to the public sector.
• Providing safe and effective products for healthcare professionals and patients.
• Smooth and timely supply of health organizations with a sufficient number of pharmaceutical products and materials.
• Supply of innovative pharmaceutical products and materials that improve the quality of life of patients.
• Improvement of the speed of service to the beneficiaries.
•  Improving the satisfaction of the beneficiaries.
• Confirmation that EKAPY’s processes are working effectively and efficiently.
• Compliance with the relevant legislative framework.

For the implementation of the Quality Policy, EKAPY is committed to operate with the following principles:

• Effective and substantial implementation of the Quality Management System within the framework of the EN ISO 9001:2015 Standard and the relevant Legislation.
• All employees are fully informed about the Quality Management System of the Organization and responsibly take care of its implementation, under the supervision and guidance of the Quality Management Manager. Each employee is responsible for the quality of their work and its continuous improvement.
• EKAPY provides all the necessary means (equipment, materials, training) to achieve the quality goals.
• All actions that may affect quality are planned and implemented in accordance with the statutory procedures, which have been developed based on the process-by-process approach of the Quality Management System.
• All control data are analyzed and used in the context of a continuous effort to maintain and improve the Quality Management System.
• The Management has appointed a Quality Management Officer, who reports to the Management and has the authority and organizational independence to ensure that EKAPY’s Quality Management System operates and is maintained in accordance with the aforementioned international Quality Standards and Legislation.
