Interoperability subsystem
The Interoperability Subsystem of the National Central Health Procurement Authority (EKAPY) provides an integrated and secure interface of information systems through online services (APIs). The purpose of the subsystem is the reliable exchange of structured data with authorized entities, supporting critical functions related to the organization’s integrated information system, such as:
- Product, Service, and Supplier Register
- Technical Specifications Register
- Central Procurement Register
The above services are accessed through documented API methods and following a controlled request submission and approval process.
Through the Interoperability Subsystem, authorized users and applications can make calls to the available services utilizing modern security mechanisms, such as API Key or user credentials (Username / Password / Client Secret), depending on the usage scenario. The system provides detailed documentation of their methods and parameters, as well as mechanisms for monitoring the status of access requests, contributing to transparency, interoperability and effective digital cooperation of EKAPY with the ecosystem of health institutions.
