The National Central Health Procurement Authority (E.K.A.P.Y.) is structured in two (2) General Directorates, eight (8) Directorates, twenty-two (22) Departments, two (2) independent Departments and the Internal Audit Unit.
In particular, the E.K.A.P.Y. consists of:
a) The General Directorate of Planning and Contracts, which is structured into:
aa) Directorate for the Management of Tender Procedures, which includes the following departments:
i) Procurement Planning Department,
ii) Tender Procedures Department,
iii) Department of Central Service and Pharmaceutical Contracts,
iv) Department of Contracts for Materials and Services.
ab) Directorate of Project Management, to which the following Departments belong:
i) Department of European Programs,
ii) Department of Co-financed Projects.
ac) Directorate for the Management of Medicines, to which the following Departments belong:
i) Medicines Ordering Department,
ii) Department of Drug Document Control.
ad) Directorate of Material, Services and Supply Chain Management, to which the following Departments belong:
i) Department of Ordering Materials and Services,
ii) Department of Control of Documentary Materials and Services,
iii) Department of Warehouse Management, Distribution and Inventory Tracking.
ae) Directorate of Strategic Planning, to which the following Departments belong:
i) Department of Registers,
ii) Department of Technical Specifications and Market Research,
iii) Department of Biomedical Technology and Equipment.
b) The General Directorate of Organization and Financial Services, which is structured into:
ba) Directorate of Administrative Services, to which the following Departments belong:
i) Human Resources Department,
ii) Department of Secretariat and Administrative Support.
bb) Directorate of e-Government, to which the following Departments belong:
i) Systems Design, Development and Support Department,
ii) User Support and Infrastructure Department,
iii) Data Processing and Data Analysis Department.
bc) Directorate of Financial Services, to which the following Departments belong:
i) Budget and Payments Department,
ii) Department of Control and Clearance of Payroll and Expenses,
