The Grant agreement for the Project 101128437 -Pro Cure project was signed on 23/01/2023 between the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HADEA) and twenty-five (25) public bodies and private organizations, hereinafter referred to as partners, coming from thirteen (13) EU Member States. Among these Member States is Greece, with EKAPY as a representative, a National Central Purchasing Authority (EHIC) and a strategic body of State Health Procurement.
The summary scope of the project is the mapping of procurement processes in the Member States involved, the lessons learned from the implementation of government procurement during the covid-19 pandemic and the final proposal of strategies with which the health system will be ready to deal with a future crisis.Acomparison of procurement procedures before and during the crisis was carried out in order to demonstrate the preparedness of the operators and to identify areas for improvement.
Σκοπός/Οφέλη:
The end goal is to make current practices more flexible but also more effective.
Methodology:
Its methodology ProCure was implemented in three phases: a) Phase 1: Conduct of a study that collected the necessary data which was converted into information, b) Phase 2: Identification of the needs of stakeholders, c) Phase 3: Formulation of new strategies for public health procurement in order to enhance preparedness for future challenges.
